Originally written for Cello and Piano, Adagio and Allegro Opus 70 was edited by Schumann for the Horn in 1849. The original title of the work was Romance and Allegro and is one of the first major works of importance for the valve horn.

In arranging this work for Bass Trombone, Mr. Morales-Matos has transposed the key down into C major.

This exquisite piece of music is about nine minutes in length and suitable for advanced performers and makes a perfect choice for a recital.
