The Carnival of Venice by Arban is possibly the most well-known and often performed Solo in the Trumpet/Cornet literature. This arrangement by Ray Kirkham for a Duo of Cornet and Trumpet (or two Trumpets or Cornets) with Piano, captures the essence of the virtuosic work and includes the famous Theme with five Variations.
