Sergei Prokofiev composed his great ballet score Romeo and Juliet in 1935. The music is an inspired work of genius and is performed as a full ballet and in pure orchestral format in Suites arranged by the composer worldwide. Randall Malmstrom has brilliantly arranged his own suite of Romeo and Juliet for 11-part Brass Ensemble of about 10 minutes in length for advanced performers.

The music is dramatic, sorrowful and tragic and sounds great in the brass ensemble format.

Instrumentation is for 2 Trumpets in C, 4 Horns, 2 Trombones, Bass Trombone, Contrabass Trombone and Tuba.
