The Washington Post March, written in 1889, one of John Philip Sousa's greatest marches has been wonderfully arranged by Keith Terrett for Brass Quintet with instrumentation of 2 Trumpets in B-flat, Horn, Trombone and Tuba. Perfect for moderately advanced performers.

The march was written in honor of the creation of The Washington Post newspaper which started publishing the year before in 1888. The march helped promote the fledgling paper and took advantage of the popular dance the two-step.
