Introduction to Trombone Quartets by Randy Aldcroft is a suite of seven short character pieces that are just so charming. Randy was a "jazzer" but these are "straight", not classical sounding and not jazzy. They remind me of the trios written by Allen Chase in the 1960's. Very delightful and entertaining and fun to play. All parts are important, so everyone gets something interesting to play.

Suitable for advanced intermediate performers and all parts are in bass clef. Total length of about 8 minutes.
