Trombonist Benny Sluchin's arrangements of songs by Charles Gounod for trombone and piano has resulted in this new collection entitled Gounod and the Trombone, volume 1. A multi-year journey of study and research convinced Sluchin of the beauty and value of Gounod's songs and their application for the trombone.

This collection of seven songs for Trombone and Piano, volume 1 contains some very beautiful music for trombonists to explore and perform.

Appropriate for moderately advanced performers and all in bass clef. Each song is about 2 minutes in length.
