Under the Double Eagle March by Josef Franz Wagner was composed in 1893. Wagner was an Austrian military music composer and bandmaster for the majority of his career. The march became a huge hit in the 1930's in the USA after it was arranged for a country music band, Bill Boyd and His Cowboy Ramblers! Who would have guessed!

Wagner is sometimes known as the "Austrian March King" and this march became a favorite part of the repertoire of John Philip Sousa whose band recorded it three times, with many thinking the march was actually Sousa's.

This great arrangement by Keith Terrett is scored for Trumpet in B-flat, Trombone (all in bass clef) and Piano and is suitable for advanced performers. It will keep everyone's toes tapping and make a huge hit on your next concert.
