David Fetter has composed a very entertaining work, The Bass Trombone Wakes Up for Brass Quintet featuring the bass trombonist.

Here is a brief description of the work.

The sleeping bass trombone is roused with difficulty by his friends. He yawns and stretches, hums a little song, and does some calisthenics. Waking up and feeling better, he is ready for a new day.

This work is suitable for advanced performers and is about 8-minutes in length. A great work for young audiences.
