Kevin Dombrowski is a trombonist, teacher, and arranger from Chicago, IL. He plays second trombone with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and has held positions with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra (Bosnia and Hercegovina) and SONG Symphony Orchestra (Korea). He has played with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, West Virginia Symphony, Owensboro Symphony, Lexington Philharmonic, National Repertory Orchestra, and the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra among others. As a soloist and chamber musician, Kevin has won several competitions and soloed with multiple orchestras throughout the United States and abroad. His principal teachers include Scott Hartman, Dr. John Marcellus, Lisa Albrecht, and Timothy Riordan. He holds degrees from both the Eastman School of Music and the Yale School of Music. Aside from music, Kevin loves to play golf and hockey in his spare time.
