Goodwin
Dr. Wade Goodwin is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music where he earned both his Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees. Goodwin earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Ball State University. Dr. Goodwin is a professional bass trombonist, teacher, and arranger. Goodwin studied trombone with Dr. John Seidel, Phil Wilson, M. Dee Stewart, Charlie Vernon and Pete Norton. He studied arranging with Mark Buselli and Craig Bailey. Goodwin has subbed with several orchestras in Indiana and around Cincinnati, and he enjoys playing bass trombone in a jazz big band whenever possible. When Dr. Goodwin was in high school, he toured the country performing as a member of Star of Indiana’s Brass Theater with the Canadian Brass and recorded the album “The Canadian Brass and Star of Indiana An Evening of Brass Theater II.”
