Williams-Marc

Marc Williams is a geneticist and is the director of the Genomics Medicine Institute at Geisinger Health System in Danville, PA. He has played trombone for almost 50 years. He has studied with Dr. Jay Hildebrandt, John Russo, Dr. James Wheat and Larry Zalkind (and others who prefer to remain anonymous to preserve their reputation). He’s played in numerous brass ensembles, orchestras and wind ensembles. He began arranging for brass ensemble in college. As a member of the Ultimate Utah Trombone Ensemble he created a number of arrangements for the group. In addition to the UUTE, he has created arrangements for the St. Louis Low Brass Collective, the Central Pennsylvania Trombone Consortium, the Columbus State trombone choir and the professors’ choir of the Southeast Trombone Symposium.
