Chiang

Justin Chiang is a euphonium and trombone player from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Justin completed his Bachelor of Music degree in euphonium and tenor trombone at the University of British Columbia. His Master of Music degree in euphonium performance and Performer’s Diploma in bass trombone were completed at Indiana University. He has been heard playing with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Opera, Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, National Academy Orchestra of Canada, and a variety of chamber ensembles. Justin has also spent time in the Canadian Armed Forces playing with the Band of the Ceremonial Guard and the Band of the 15th Field Regiment.

Justin is interested in playing all types of ensembles and enjoys having the opportunity to perform in any various ensembles including: orchestra, wind ensemble, big band, and chamber music.

Justin has had the privilege of studying with Daniel Perantoni, Dee Stewart, Carl Lenthe, Peter Ellefson, Greg Cox, and Peder MacLellan.
