Grovlez

Gabriel Grovlez was an eminent French composer, conductor, pianist and music critic. He studied with Fauré and others at the Conservatoire de Paris. As a solo pianist and accompanist he toured throughout Europe. He was also the director of the Paris Opera for 20 years and guest conducted throughout Europe and North America.

His many compositions were mostly for voice and the stage, including ballets. (Wikipedia)
