Howard

 

Born in Chilliwack BC, Jackson Howard is a trombonist based in Philadelphia PA. Jackson has performed with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra where he has performed as Principal Trombone. He has performed recitals across Canada and in the USA, as well as concerto performances with the Fraser Valley Symphony and the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra. Jackson studied with Ellen Marple, Gordon Cherry and Brian Wendel in Vancouver, and began his further studies with Gordon Wolfe at the Glenn Gould School in Toronto. He is currently studying at the Curtis Institute of Music with Matthew Vaughn and Nitzan Haroz.
