Kim Ohlemeyer

Currently residing in San Marino, California, Kim Ohlemeyer has enjoyed over thirty years as a professional trombonist. He served as Principal Trombone of the Phoenix Symphony for over 20 years and has had the privilege of performing with some of the finest orchestras in the United States including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Boston Symphony and Indianapolis Symphony. He attended the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, received a Bachelors of Music from Boston University and pursued graduate studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. His major teachers include Ron Barron, M. Dee Stewart, and Tony Chipurn. In addition to performing and teaching, Ohlemeyer enjoys arranging, recording and audio editing.
