Respighi
Respighi was an Italian composer most famous for his orchestral tone poems, the "Roman Trilogy" being works of genius. His five months of studies with Rimsky-Korsakov probably gave him insights into the art of orchestration, which gave his music a magical quality. Respighi was also interested in music of the 16th and 17th century, specializing in Vivaldi, Monteverdi and Marcello.
