Rovere
Fabio Rovere completed his studies at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory of Turin (sec. stac. of Cuneo) graduating in 1990. He continued his studies at the Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale in Saluzzo (1992) under Branimir Slokar and privately with Joseph Burnam, I° Trombone at the Orchestra Sinfonica della RAI di Torino, then Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI.
He later earned the Premier Prix de Virtuositè at the Conservatoire de Musique de Lausanne under Roger Bobo (1999).
He has to his credit several performances as a soloist where he presented the national premiere of the piece "Morph," by composer Ken Kugler, for Bass Trombone and Magnetic Tape and has made several recordings with different orchestral ensembles. In March 2019, he performed as Trombone Soloist the "Oration funèbre" from H.Berlioz's Grande Symphonie Funèbre et Trionphale conducted by M°A. Loss accompanied by the Wind Orchestra of the Province of Vicenza and the Wind Band of the "A.Pedrollo" Conservatory of Vicenza.
He has participated in Master Classes with soloists such as Joseph Burnam, Carsten Svanberg, Bruce Nelson, Jared Rodin, Abbie Conant, Joe Alessi, Ronald Barron, Stuart Dempster, Charles Vernon, Michael Mulchahy.
He has obtained qualifications at Teatro Alla Scala (1997-2004), Arena di Verona (2005), I Pomeriggi Musicali (2001-2004), Sanremo Symphony Orchestra (1991), Teatro Lirico di Cagliari (2003-2004-2005), Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano (2010), Orchestra of Padua and Veneto (2005), Teatro La Fenice of Venice (2005), Symphony Orchestra of the Province of Bari (1990).
He has collaborated with various concert institutions and opera houses including the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Arena in Verona, the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra (1995-2001), the Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan, the Haydn Orchestra in Bolzano (since 2001), the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari (since 1999, achieving the right of first call), the Teatro Comunale di Firenze- Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Orchestra della Toscana, the Solisti Veneti, I Virtuosi Italiani of Verona, the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, the "A. Toscanini" Philharmonic Orchestra of Parma, the Teatro Regio of Parma, the Regional Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta "GFMalipiero" (2003-2016) having the opportunity to perform under the baton of such conductors as E. Pidò, CM Giulini, W. Proost, E. Inbal, Z. Metha, C. Abbado, G. Kuhn, T. Severini, GM Bisanti, D. Robertson, O. Dantone, C. Scimone, G. Korsten, R. Palumbo, K. Martin, N. Santi, C. Rovaris, H. He is a member of the EAST WEST Trombone Ensemble, OPV Brass Quintet and other chamber ensembles.
Since 2002 he has collaborated as Bass Trombone with the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto.
He has been Professor of Trombone at the State Conservatory of Music "U. Giordano" in Foggia, the Conservatory "G. Martucci" in Salerno, the State Conservatory of Music "U. Giordano" in Foggia section of Rodi Garganico, the Conservatory " C.Monteverdi" in Bolzano and the Conservatory "A.Scontrino" in Trapani.
Since AA 2018/2019, he is the holder of the Trombone and Euphonium class at the "A.Pedrollo" Conservatory in Vicenza.
