Wadley

Logan Wadley is currently a doctoral student studying with Dr. Justin Benavidez at the Eastman School of Music. Logan is an active performer around the country, having performed as a guest artist on recitals at the University of Rhode Island, North Carolina School of the Arts, University of Houston, University of South Dakota, as well as the National Music Museum. His festival attendance includes the Curtis Summerfest in Philadelphia, National Music Festival in Chestertown, Maryland, and Round Top Music Festival in Round Top, Texas as well as the Falcone Festival and Victoria Bach Festival, where he appeared as an emerging artist for the duration of the festival.
As an active soloist, Logan was recently a winner of the silver medal in the 2024 Falcone Tuba Artist Competition and placed first in the Tuba Artist division at the Northeast Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference. Logan won the Eastman School of Music concerto competition and performed the Arild Plau Tuba Concerto with the Eastman Symphony Orchestra in 2025. He is also an active soloist with the Sioux City Municipal Band in Sioux city, Iowa, having performed the Edward Gregson Tuba concerto in 2019 and Logan’s own arrangement of Guiseppe Brescianello’s “Violin Concerto in E Minor” in the 2025.
In 2023, Logan received his bachelor's in Tuba Performance from the Eastman School of Music with High Distinction and a Performer’s Certificate studying with Don Harry and in 2025 graduated with his master’s degree from Eastman studying with Dr. Justin Benavidez. Logan’s professional instructors include Roger Bobo, Don Harry, Chris Olka, Craig Knox, Todd Cranson, and Chuck Dibley.
