Telemann - Suite in D major for Unaccompanied Euphonium
Telemann's Suite in D major is a lovely Baroque Suite in four movements for Unaccompanied Euphonium. The Suite has been beautifully transcribed by Ralph Sauer, retired Principal Trombonist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, with detailed but appropriate markings. Prelude, Courante, Recitative and Fugue and Minuet are the four dance movements.
This work is for moderately advanced players all in Bass Clef. Range goes to a high “C” above the staff and a low “C-sharp” below the staff (octave alternatives are notated).
