The final opera of Wagner's immense work of genius, the "Ring Cycle" is Götterdämmerung. The Immolation Scene occurs in the final part of Act 3, where Brünnhilde lights a pyre and the ensuing flames bring down the Hall of the Godsconsuming all within it as the curtain falls.
