Daniel Speer is a well-known German Baroque musician who mostly wrote for brass instruments of the period. His Six Sonatas were written around 1688 and are a delight to perform. 

This edition by David Fetter is beautifully edited and contains a substitute horn part in addition to the trombone 1 part.

Speer's most famous work, Die Bänkelsängerlieder (Sonata 5) is in C major and included in this great collection.

Instrumentation is for: 2 Trumpets in C, Trombone 1 or Horn, Trombone 2 and Bass Trombone or Tuba.
