Nathan Townsend was born and grew up in Michigan, and currently lives in Greenville South Carolina where he is getting his undergrad in music education. His principal instrument is tuba, and he has studied voice and composition throughout college. Nathan is the principal tubist for the Bob Jones University orchestra, and enjoys writing instrumental music and transcribing and arranging music for low brass. He hopes to be a band director, and continue to be able to write and arrange music while making a difference in the lives of young people.
