J. S. Bach's "Little" Fugue in G minor BWV 578 for organ was written in the first decade of the 18th century while the composer was working at Arnstadt. It is one of Bach's best known works and has been arranged for numerous types of ensembles including a full-blown one for symphony orchestra by Leopold Stokowski.

Randall Malmstrom has arranged a great setting of this work for 5 Trombones. Instrumentation is for 1 Alto Trombone, 2 Tenor Trombones, 1 Bass Trombone and 1 Contrabass Trombone.

This work is about 4 minutes in length, appropriate for moderately advanced performers and is dedicated by Mr. Malmstrom to contrabass trombone artist John Ohnstad and colleagues.
