The Star-Spangled Banner written by Francis Scott Key, is the national anthem of the United States of America. Written in 1814 by Key, who incorporated the song melody from a popular English drinking song called "To Anacreon in Heaven" the work has been the official anthem of America since 1931.

This great patriotic anthem has been beautifully arranged for 10-part Brass Ensemble by Geoffrey Bergler, taken from a piano rendition by Louis Moreau Gottschalk and is appropriate for advanced performers.
