He is a leading professional Trombonist in North America, having performed as Principal Trombonist of the Vancouver Symphony, and the CBC Radio Orchestra. As well, Gordon has taught hundreds of Brass students for over 30 years at the University of British Columbia and many international leading music festivals.

Gershwin, Prelude No. 2. Blue Lullaby, composed for Piano as part of a set of three short movements, has been arranged by Matt Lennex for Trombone Quartet. About two and a half minutes in length, Blue Lullaby is "Bluesy" and a lot of fun to play, plus, very entertaining for audiences. This excellent arrangement with all parts in Bass Clef is suitable for advanced performers. This work will make a fantastic addition to your concert.
