He is a leading professional Trombonist in North America, having performed as Principal Trombonist of the Vancouver Symphony, and the CBC Radio Orchestra. As well, Gordon has taught hundreds of Brass students for over 30 years at the University of British Columbia and many international leading music festivals.

Land of Hope and Glory, (Finale from the Coronation Ode, Op. 44) by Edward Elgar is a patriotic British song composed in 1901. It is widely considered to be one of the most iconic pieces of British music, often performed at important national events such as the Last Night of the Proms. The song's lyrics were written by Arthur Christopher Benson and celebrate the strength and glory of the British Empire during the height of its power. The stirring melody and uplifting lyrics make it a popular choice for ceremonial occasions and its rousing chorus has become synonymous with the pride and patriotism of the British people.

This fantastic arrangement by Damiano Drei is for standard Brass Quintet (Trumpets in B-flat) and Concert Organ and is appropriate for moderately advanced performers. It will make a big splash for whatever event it is performed at.
