Malcolm Forsyth is one of Canada's leading composers. This work for Trombone Solo and four-part Trombone Choir was composed in 2007 for a performance at a wedding ceremony at the Edmonton Moravian Church.

The six and a half minute work is in A-B-A form (slow-fast-slow) and features a short cadenza in the middle for the soloist. This work can be performed by advanced players. The range of the solo part is from low E to high C and has ample rest.

"Arcadian" refers to a vision of pastoral harmony with nature. Panoply is Greek in origin and means something that provides a protective covering.
Includes Score and parts (Part 1 & 2 have parts supplied in Bass or Tenor Clef).
