He is a leading professional Trombonist in North America, having performed as Principal Trombonist of the Vancouver Symphony, and the CBC Radio Orchestra. The Wiener Philharmoniker Fanfare, Op. AV 109, also known as the Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare is a work for brass instruments written by Richard Strauss.

The Fanfare, written for the Vienna Philharmonic orchestra, was premiered on March 4, 1924 at a benefit ball to mark their 40th anniversary and to raise money for the orchestra's pension fund. (Wikipedia)
